Gastric juice was collected basally over 30 min and post pentagastrin (6 μg/kg i.m.) over 60 min in controls (n = 11, age 23–31 median 24 years) and patients (grades 2/3) (n = 20, age 29–74 median 57 years). Pepsin was recorded as concentration in mg/mL using pig pepsin A as a calibrant.10,15 The chart shows the median and the bar the upper value. There was no difference in any of the pepsins as measured by HPIEC. The x axis is incorrectly labelled. The corrected Figure appears below. Reference 1 Roberts N.
