Plant Pathology60: 345–55. doi:10.1111/j.1365-3059.2010.02384.x On pages 346/349, Bekele et al. reported that the SecAfor5 primer for nested PCR of the phytoplasma secA gene was comprised of the four primers, [(5′-GARATGAAAACTGGRGAAGG-3′) + (5′-ASTCGTGAAGCTGAAGG-3′) + (5′-AGCTAAAAGAGAATTTGAGG-3′) + (5′-CTGATAGAGAAGCTAATGG-3′)]. However, the correct SecAfor5 primer mix should only contain three primers: [(5′-ASTCGTGAAGCTGAAGG-3′) + (5′-AGCTAAAAGAGAATTTGAAGG-3′) + (5′-CTGATAGAGAAGCTAATGG-3′)].
