Abstract

The authors regret that the earlier published rates of readmission in the analysis had some issues. There were some issues with the STATA code we used to generate readmission rates from the NRD database. The corrected statement is as follows “Out of the remaining 576,946 RTR who were discharged alive, a significant number of patients 124,845 (21.6%) patients had 30-day readmissions. The 30-day readmission rates for alive discharged STEMI patients were 979 (32.3%).”
