Abstract
In Preliminaries [2, Section 2] a characterization of Galois extensions of finite commutative chain rings was cited (namely, Corollary XV.4 of [3]). As pointed out to us by [4] this characterization is false. Apparently, this fact was first noticed in [5]. The correct Section 2. Preliminaries should be given as follows (the changes with respect to the previous version are restricted to the second and third paragraphs).
