Abstract

Corrigendum on: Coelho P, Carvalho F, Goulding TA, Chainho P and Guerreiro J (2021) Management Models of the Manila Clam (Ruditapes philippinarum) Fisheries in Invaded European Coastal Systems. Front. Mar. Sci. 8:685307. doi: 10.3389/fmars.2021.685307 In the original article, there was an error. At the beginning of the abstract, in the sentence "The Manila clam (Ruditapes philippinarum, Adam & Reeve 1850) is a non-indigenous species that was illegally introduced in Europe (France) in the 1970s for commercial purposes, and reached Portugal in the 1980s.", the word "illegally" shouldn't be there because it doesn't match the bibliography presented. This error was due to several rewritings of the abstract and originally referred the Portugal's case, the word should have been deleted when referring Europe (France).A correction has been made to Abstract.
