Abstract
For the communication by G. Zhang, R. Lang, W. Wang, H. Lv, L. Zhao, C. Xia, and F. Lia, in Advanced Synthesis & Catalysis, Issue 5, 2015, pp. 917–922 (DOI: 10.1002/adsc.201401140), the prior synthesis of starting chloromethyl-functionalized carbene salt 1 by the Plenio group was not cited. On page 918 in the last paragraph of the left column, the following correction is needed. “The synthesis of complex 1 was reported in our previous work.[10]” needs to be corrected to “The synthesis of 1 was successively reported by Plenio and in our previous work.[10]” On page 922 a new reference, 10c, needs to be added as follows: V. Sashuk, D. Schoeps, H. Plenio, Chem. Commun. 2009, 770–721. The authors apologize for this oversight.
