Abstract

The authors of this article would like to apologize for some mistakes in the published manuscript due to providing the journal with the wrong version of the manuscript. The following amendments have been embedded in the new version: In the Introduction section, the sentence Another microbial phenotypic trait of Candida isolates causing candidemia is to study the growth kinetic parameters, which is relatively easy with automated microtiter plate now reads as Another intrinsic characteristic of Candida isolates causing candidemia is their growth kinetic rate. The growth kinetic parameters are currently relatively easy to assess using automatic microtiter plate readers.
