Abstract

With interest I saw the article from W. Jackson (1967) on “Dose assessment in diagnostic radiology”. If Mr. Jackson says “it is difficult to construct a wavelength independent ionisation chamber under the limitations that it must be optically transparent and absorb only a small fraction of the radiation” we must say that we, some years ago, succeeded in building such a chamber and it can be seen at several places in Great Britain.
