Abstract

Avila, F. and Myers, D.E., 1991. Correspondence analysis applied to environmental data sets: a study of Chautauqua Lake sediments. Chemometrics and Intelligent Laboratory Systems, 11: 229–249. Correspondence analysis (CA) is a multivariate technique suitable for data matrices with nonnegative entries. We show its use on environmental data sets and compare our results with those found in previous studies of the same data sets. To perform CA we use an interactive PC program that uses several diagnostics to help find a solution.
