Abstract

Objective To explore the correlation between symptoms of chronic diseases and the chronic potients'QOL, in order to formulate nursing methods to improve their QOL. Methods 230 chronic disease pa-tients were investigated by the individual information questionnaire including clinical symptoms and Short Fori 36 health survey questionnaire (SF-36 forms) . Results The patients' QOL was worse than that of the common crowd, and there was positive correlation between symptoms and QOL. Conclusions Effective care should be giv-en to control the symptoms of the patients with chronic diseases for enhance their QOL, and the mental and physi-cal care is same important.
