Abstract

Correlative decays of inner vacancy states are discussed. These processes lead to new electron and photon lines both in a low‐ and a high‐energy part of a spectrum. The possible mechanisms for the formation and a decay of these states are discussed. The role of excited electrons in the decay of inner vacancies is discussed. Some speculations are presented about the formation and the decay of unusual highly excited states.
