Abstract

The correlations between the sten B Factor scores of the Children's and the High School Personality Questionnaires and the WISC-R Full Scale IQs for 121 gifted (IQ > 120) students in Grades 4 to 7 were low. Caution should be utilized in interpreting the B Factor as a valid measure of intellectual functioning of gifted youth.
