Abstract
An account is given of the remarkably strong correlations that we have found between the cross sections and threshold energies for positronium formation and for direct positron-impact ionization. Brief mention is made of similar correlations that we have found between the cross sections and threshold energies for direct ionization by electrons, protons and antiprotons.
