Abstract

Some general relations between atomic soft configurations (low-energy dynamics) and medium-range order in glasses are established in the frame of a soft-configuration model related theory. These relations and the associated physical picture are expected to explain recently revealed empirical correlations describing the medium-range order and its link to dynamical features of glasses.
