Abstract

The authors present a new and powerful rheological model: the four-parameter (FP) model. A rheological parameters calculation model was built based on regression method. On the basis of several test data, an evaluation of the FP model with other models was made. A generalized hydraulic calculation model was developed based on the power law extension method. The predictions of the developed method have been compared with several sets of experimental hydraulic data from different sources. The generalized hydraulic calculation model is shown to be quite accurate and superior to those obtained by the presently available standard techniques.
