Abstract
Hypoxia can develop within the gross tumor corresponding to regions with poor blood perfusion. 18F-FMISO PET/CT images hypoxia while Dynamic Contrast Enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI) detects tumor perfusion. The present study is designed to compare hypoxic and perfusion status of HNC with nodal metastases using 18F-FMISO PET/CT and DCE-MRI imaging.
