Abstract
Abstract A correlation was developed that relates the composition of the well stream effluent at any depleted state to the composition of the retrograde gas condensate at its initial dew point pressure as a function of the fraction that the reservoir pressure is depleted, reservoir temperature and specific gravity of the retrograde gas condensate at its initial dew point pressure. The correlation is based on the analysis of 131 constant volume laboratory depletion studies on gas-condensate systems for a total of 907 depletion steps. If the initial specific gravity of the gas condensate is not available, a second correlation was developed to predict the initial specific gravity.
