Abstract
Because of the incertitude of the information regarding the variation of the correlated variables: the tourist traffic (represented by the number of tourist and the number of overnight stays) and the total touristic accommodation capacity in function it is necessary to calculate the rank coefficients of correlation. In this case the determinant factor will be the total touristic accommodation capacity in function (xi) and the depended factors will be the total number of tourist (y1) and the total number of overnight stays (y2). Using the date from the National Institute of Statistics the Kendall and Spearman coefficients have been computed for the tourism activity at the national level and for the Spas and Danube Delta.
