Abstract
Studies involving large-portion testing and large-portion sorting of excavated ores of radioactive, rare, and nonferrous metals by radiometric and nuclear physical methods have been carried out during mining, materials handing, and processing operations in order to determine the source of substantial discrepancies between the calculated and experimental large-portion testing errors and the complex relationship between the yield of tails in large-portion sorting and the principle factors.
