Abstract
An axial vortex pump stage has been developed. Its application has remarkably improved cavitation characteristics of condensate pumps and helped raise the cavitation factor to as high as 4500–5000. This has also helped increase the rotation speed of the pump shaft and reduce the mass and dimension characteristics of the stage.
