Abstract

96 flue-cured tobacco leaf samples and accompanied soil samples were collected from typical tobacco growing counties in Qujing City,Yunnan Province, the contents of Pb,Cr and Hg in tobacco leaf and soil were determined and the correlation between Pb,Cr and Hg contents in flue-cured tobacco and soil environmental factors were discussed. The results showed that: 1) the contents of Pb,Cr and Hg in tobacco leaves were low, their average values were 4. 15,1. 78 and 0. 050 mg/kg,respectively. 2) The levels of heavy metals in tobacco growing soils were favorable, the percentages of soil samples, whose Pb,Cr and Hg contents accorded with the second grade of national soil environment quality, were 98. 96% ,100% and 94. 79% ,respectively. 3) The soil’s pH value was suitable, organic matter content was rich, available N and available K contents were high, available P content was moderate. 4) The Pb,Cr and Hg contents in tobacco leaves directly related with the same in soil, negatively correlated to soil pH,and positively correlated to organic matter content in soil.
