Abstract

Long non-coding RNA (lncRNA), as a kind of the non-coding RNA, could regulate the functions of organism by influencing chromatin remodeling, as well as transcriptional and post-transcriptional gene expression levels. Recently, lncRNA has been found to be associated with the occurrence and development of tumor, and a variety of lncRNA were abnormally expressed in laryngeal cancer, indicating that lncRNA may play an important role in the pathogenesis of laryngeal cancer. In this paper, the roles and mechanisms of lncRNA in the laryngeal cancer were reviewed, and the application prospects of lncRNA for the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of laryngeal cancer were discussed. Key words: Laryngeal Neoplasms; Carcinoma, Squamous Cell; long non-coding RNA
