Abstract

Helium depth profiles have been measured for stainless steel pre-irradiated with 10 keV helium and post-irradiated with 5 keV hydrogen. Helium profiles observed as a function of helium fluence are similar to the hydrogen profiles previously measured using the 1H( 15N, α γ) 12C reaction. The difference in helium retention observed with and without post-irradiation of hydrogen has revealed an obvious reduction of helium by hydrogen post-irradiation.
