Abstract

Background and Aim: Over the years, the need for synchronization between a viable embryo and the endometrium age to achieve successful implantation and pregnancy has been studied. Recent studies have suggested similar implantation and pregnancy rates between frozen embryo transfers (FET) of blastocysts cryopreserved on day 5 and day 6. However, the blastocyst age and endometrial age during transfer were not clearly defined. Moreover, the ploidy status of these embryos were unknown. This is thus a retrospective study to investigate the correlation between endometrial age (in hours) and blastocyst age (in hours) to achieve a successful implantation with euploid blastocysts.
