Abstract

Introduction: While atrial pacing (Ap) has been found to alleviate atrial arrhythmia (AA) burden, unnecessary ventricular pacing (Vp) was shown to be potentially detrimental. This study aimed to determine the correlation between Ap/Vp and AA burden through a 6 months (M) follow up (FU) in Sinus Node Disease (SND) patients (pts). Methods: After dual chamber pacemaker's implantation, a 3M run-in period was performed in order to monitor AA burden and AV conduction. Pts presenting paroxysmal AA and less than 3% Vp were then followed up to 6M FU.
