Abstract

The dependences of the energy and the number of acoustic emission signals on the melt temperature are experimentally studied and analyzed in the temperature range 680–860°C. A correlation between acoustic emission and the structural changes in liquid metals, in particular, the aluminum melt is found. Cluster models are presented.
