Survey instruments included general information survey, Chronic disease self-efficacy scale, and Exercise of self-care agency scale. The patients′ self-efficacy and self-care ability were evaluated and analyzed in correlation. Results Self-care ability of most cirrhosis patients was in a medium or lower level. The scores of self-efficacy and self-care ability of cirrhosis patients were (45.42±3.33) and (115.49±18.82), with the two of high-positive correlation (r=0.851, P<0.01). Conclusions The patient′s self-care ability can be directly enhanced by improving patient′s self-efficacy, and thus the patients′ quality of life can be guaranteed.
