Patients with diarrheal IBS had higher scores of Kong (23.82±2.59) and Jing (23.26±2.43) than those of other types (F=37.58, 20.24, all P<0.01). The scores of Si (21.54±1.74) and You (21.50±2.10) in constipated IBS patients were higher than those in other patients (F=51.29, 17.33, all P<0.01). The score of Nu (18.96±2.48) in Changdaozaore patients was higher than those in other types patients (F=4.75, P<0.01). Conclusions IBS is associated with Qiqing.
