Corrections to “Attack and Defense Strategies for Intrusion Detection in Autonomous Distributed IoT Systems”

Abstract

In the above article [1] , Fig. 12 and 13 included an incorrect label for a protocol name and one reference was missing [2] . In Fig. 12 and 13, the label within the figure “CASSPN” should be “CAVBIDS.” The third sentence of Section I should read “In this article, we develop a methodology to capture and analyze the interplay of intrusion detection attack-defense strategies in an Autonomous Distributed Internet of Things System (ADIoTS) continuing from our previous work presented in [2] while considering node heterogeneity, task execution, and more advanced attacks like strategic voting.” Line 3 on the second page should be read as “Here an attacker refers to an inside attacker and a defender refers to a good node [2] .” The first sentence of Section IV should read “In this section, we develop an analytical model, building on our model in [2] , to describe the IDS attack-defense dynamics and analyze the effect of attack/defense strategies executed by attackers/defenders on the security property and consequently the system lifetime.”
