Corrections on "Cooperative Communications Using Reliability-Forwarding Relays"

Abstract

In the above named paper [ibid., vol. 61, no. 5, pp. 1776–1785, May 2013], the authors correct an error from equation (12) and (13), on the variance of z given g and s that is expressed correctly in (14). This correction affects (15), (16), (17) and finally the optimal combining coefficient α MDC,i given in (18) which should be modified as noted by the authors. Note that, the approximated maximum deflection coefficient given in Lemma 2 should be similarly corrected and (32) should be modified as further noted.
