The authors neglected to cite several necessary references according to the data use requirements of HiWATER
The authors wish to make the following corrections to their paper [1]: HiWATER has been designed as a comprehensive eco-hydrological experiment in the Heihe River Basin in the arid northwest region of China within the framework of “Integrated research on the eco-hydrological process [2].”
2–5 have been added and cited as references 17–20 in the new version. This new version is available as a supplementary file
