(Geophysical Research Letters, 38, L17405, doi:10.1029/2011GL048716, 2011), the last sentence of paragraph [8] should be “Properties 2 and 3 also emerge from the invariant fractal structure of elevation increments across various spatial scales.” The correct affiliation for R. L. Bras is Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georogia, USA.
