Haberstroh, and Thomas J. Webster, the authors have become aware that two images in the bottom left and bottom right panels of Figure 1 were republished without proper attribution from a previous article by third author Thomas J. Webster and Jeremiah U. Ejiorfor.The images in question originate from the bottom and top panels of Figure 5 in the following article:Webster, T.J., and Ejiorfor, J.U. Increased osteoblast adhesion on nanophase metals: Ti, Ti6Al4V, and CoCrMo.
