Abstract
[1] In the paper “Effect of flow-induced exchange in hyporheic zones on longitudinal transport of solutes in streams and rivers” by Anders Wörman, Aaron I. Packman, Håkan Johansson, and Karin Jonsson (Water Resources Research, 38(1), 10.1029/2001WR000769, 2002), unfortunately the data treatment of Figure 12 was subject to error. The correct graph is provided here. The proportionality coefficients for the lines, k, corresponding to the two land types are k = 0.013 (agricultural land) and k = 0.14 (coniferous forest), respectively.
