Introduction

The authors wish to make the following corrections to this paper published in Genealogy (Tasker et al, 2018), reflecting regrettable misrepresentation of one research participant’s experience. The statement on page 6 that “Prior to receiving donated embryos one couple had first tried to conceive their own children and tried IVF with their own gametes; Anne and her husband were still trying to conceive using IVF”” is incorrect.
