A er communication with the supplier (Alamanda Polymers, Inc.) and performing further characterization it has come to our attention that these polymers were not optically pure (L) but contained a number of D repeating units and should be referred to as poly(D,L-glutamic acid) and poly(D,L-aspartic acid), respectively
