Abstract

This study empirically examined if there exist model guiding corporate social responsibility activities of foreign telecommunication companies in Nigeria. The study employed interpretive research design while data were manually and electronically sourced through interviews, observations and articles. Empirical results revealed that there is a significant but inverse relationship between study variables which depend on the philosophy of the investors and actions of the community since there is weak policy of the state . Therefore, corporate social responsibility activities should be organized and controlled to address environmental and economic needs that will benefit the community which is what the inverse association represents.
