Abstract

The paper presents a factor analysis of the performance indicator of companies in the Russian oil and gas industry for 2014 and 2021. As a result of the analysis, it was revealed that the profitability of sales has the greatest impact on the change in the performance indicator of the industry. The classification of companies according to the degree of influence of factors on the change in the performance indicator has been compiled. The comparative analysis of factors of domestic and foreign companies was completed.
