Abstract

A selective and efficient procedure was developed for preparation of secondary amines by direct, one-pot reductive amination of aldehydes and ketones using sodium borohydride as reducing agent and α-Fe2O3@SiO2 nanofibers as a magnetically separable catalyst. This one-pot synthesis is simple, selective, takes place under mild conditions with good yield.
