Abstract

The investigation of γ-ray transition probabilities allows quantitative conclusions on the important question to what extent the coupling of an odd particle is influenced by the underlying core motion. The transition rates considered here in nearly spherical nuclei are deduced from in-beam delayed-coincidence measurements analyzed according to the generalized centroid-shift method [1] which facilitates lifetime determinations with germanium detectors down to ≈ 0.3 ns.KeywordsTransition RateNeutron NumberTransition StrengthPartial Level SchemeWeak Coupling ModelThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
