Abstract

The article provides a legal analysis of the possibility of copyright and sui generis protection of pre-trained (pre-taught) neural networks in their objective expression, taking into account new legislation, in particular, Law No. 2811-IX. The components of the trained neural network were analyzed in the context of their possible legal qualification as objects of copyright and sui generis in order to determine effective ways of protecting such objects both individually and as the trained neural network in general.
