Abstract

To dynamically evaluate the functional state of the gastrointestinal tract in volunteer testers during a 105-day isolation experiment, their coprologic data were analyzed before the experiment; on its 16th, 35th, 45th, 60th, and 90th days; and after its completion. The analysis of the results have shown that coprologic investigations allow us to reveal alimentary functional changes manifested as intestinal dysfunctions that signal hypofunction in the pancreatic excretory segment and the hepatic excretory and synthetic functions in the conditions simulating a stay on an interplanetary station. The normalized coprogram indicators after completing the study confirm the functional genesis of the detected changes occurring in simulating the conditions of an interplanetary station.
