Abstract

Simultaneous initiation of benzodiazepines and selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) in young people with anxiety disorders declined from 2008 to 2016 but remains relatively common, a study examining a U.S. commercial insurance database reported. Coprescribing of benzodiazepines and SSRIs was not associated with longer duration in SSRI treatment.
