Abstract
A good all-rounder: The copper-catalyzed conjugate allylation of electron-deficient alkynes with allylboronates produced hydroallylation products in high yields with perfect regio- and stereoselectivity. This method can be applied to alkynes with activating groups such as ester, nitrile, amide, and sulfone substituents (see scheme).
