Abstract
This paper discusses the catalytic feature of apple pectin encapsulated Fe3O4 nanoparticles (Fe3O4-Pectin) which is prepared by co-precipitation of Fe(II/(III) ions in alkaline solution and supporting copper(II) sulfate. This process led to formation of magnetic nanoparticles within the network of pectin. It was used for immobilization of copper ions for fabrication of a catalyst which could be applicable in the catalysis of regioselective three-component synthesis of triazole through the in situ synthesis of benzyl azide and its 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition with phenyl acetylene.
