Abstract
1. The radical polymerization of maleic anhydride (MA) was studied. The polymerization is accompanied by chain transfer on the monomer and initiator; the coefficients of transfer were determined. 2. The copolymerization of MA with vinyl acetate (VA) and other compounds was studied. In the case of dissolution of MA in the monomer, stable molecular complexes arise.
