Abstract

A novel coplanar waveguide (CPW) bandpass filter (BPF) based on cross-coupling using quarter-wavelength resonators is presented. The BPF is composed of four CPW quarter-wavelength resonators. It has been investigated numerically and experimentally. Both simulated and measured results show that the filter has good performance including the minimum insertion loss of 1.7 dB in its passband and an out-of-band rejection level of below −20 dB in both lower and upper stopbands.
