Abstract

Two new coordination polymers [Pb3NaCBPTC)2(H2O)2(Me2NH2) (1) and [Zn2(BPTC)(H2O)××(DMF)2](H2O)3(DMF) (2) are constructed using different metal salts and 3,3′,5,5′-biphenyltetracarboxylic acid (H4BPTC) as building blocks. The resulted coordination polymers are characterized by the elemental analysis and single crystal X-ray diffraction, which reveals that complex 1 features a six-nodal (5,6,6,6,10,12)-connected net with a 3D framework structure, while complex 2 features a trinodal (3,4,7)-connected ttd topological net with a 3D cluster-based network. Furthermore, the in vitro anticancer activity of complexes 1 and 2 are studied via CCK-8 and LDH release assays.
