Abstract
A coordinated secondary voltage control (SVC) strategy for hybrid multi-infeed HVDC systems is proposed in this paper. A quadratic programming model is built for the coordinated SVC strategy, which is solved periodically to obtain adjustments of various reactive power sources. The voltage reference values of pilot buses can be achieved through the reactive power adjustments. Simulation results of a test system verify the effectiveness of the proposed SVC strategy.
