Abstract
A novel NbO-type Fe-MOF, named [FeIIFeIII(BPTC)(DMSO)2]·Cl·DMA·DMSO] (SQNU-56, SQNU = Shangqiu Normal University), was successfully synthesized using a specific solvent ratio of DMA/DMSO/HBF4. Structural analysis shows that SQNU-56 is isostructural with the MOF-505, with except for the DMSO coordinated diiron paddle-wheel unit replacing the H2O coordinated dimeric copper paddle-wheel unit. Interestingly, the results of the magnetic investigation demonstrate that SQNU-56 is a promising candidate material for magnetic application.
